I am writing this recommendation for Simone Windeler. She has been our show secretary for the last 8 years and we have done over 20 horse shows together. Simone is clear and precise. She attends to all details. She is an excellent bridge between show clientele and management. As a direct result of Simone's understanding and knowledge of how to expand and create momentum our shows have increased in popularity and have become extremely successful, both financially and in reputation.

Horse shows can be complicated and challenging. Effectively managing a show is not something just anyone can successfully achieve. For the past eight years I've uttered, muttered, and even shouted the words "Thank goodness we have Simone!" dozens of times.
As the President of the Classical Horse Club and a local patron of the Colorado Horse Park's dressage shows, I can think of no other person I'd rather have at the helm organizing and managing our horse shows than Simone Windeler. It's why we hire her back year after year. She's strong, fair, organized, and smart. She has decades of experience in the horse world and understands all aspects of putting together an excellent show. I have scribed for Ms Windeler at dressage shows and found her to be an excellent, fair, and knowledgeable judge. She sincerely cares that riders understand her scores and are able to use her comments to improve. I have worked with her on our Club's annual show for eight years and found her to be steady when problems arise, and easy to communicate with in all aspects of creating a good event. My personal experience with Simone has been nothing but positive. This is why she is once again the secretary and manager of our 2018 Classical Horse Club Annual Show. I can and do confidently recommend Simone Windeler as a judge, and as a show secretary and/or show manager for any type of equestrian competition. For many years, Simone Windeler has played an instrumental role in the Utah Dressage Society’s (GMO) annual show as the Show Secretary. She has a strong knowledge of all the show requirements, policies, and procedures and always ensures that scores are recorded with USDF/USEF and breed associates on time and without error. She is highly organized and understands the challenges of scheduling ride times so that competitors with multiple horses have enough time between rides to prepare for the next ride. She also is very good at making last minute adjustments to the schedule for scratches, class changes, etc. In addition, scores are always posted in a timely manner.

Simone Windeler has managed and worked as a show secretary for our show for the last 8 years. Her professionalism is exceptional, her experience in the horse show world is an incredible asset to any show. Her reputation as show secretary is fabulous because she is finding a very healthy balance between "the paperwork and the people" and we've heard nothing but great comments about how she handles a show (and our show is more complicated than others, since we offer so many different disciplines all in one show). It's been such a pleasure to work with her and we are looking forward to working with her for many more years.
